Operations Manager

Josh has many years’ experience working in management and leadership roles within the healthcare industry within metal health field and substance misuse and has attained a BA Hons in Business Management with Human Resources Management as a specialism.He has held multiple posts and has developed safe systems of work and clinical governance processes to ensure that both Staff and Clients are kept safe, He has experience of working within regional operational management overseeing multiple sites and contracts including implementations.“I feel passionate about giving people the opportunity to grow and develop within their role and I am skilled in tapping into where people’s passions lie and providing them with the training and opportunities to develop”. Josh has a vast knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes and recognises the complexities and challenges faced by clients, their families, and society as a whole. Manager

Mercy is a clinical psychologist at Lifehouse addition and treatment centre.she has been in the mental health field for several years now. She is an empathetic counselor experienced and specialized in chemical dependency. Registered with the counsellors and psychology board of Kenya (CPB) .

Administrotor

Cate has previously worked to support others with their mental health and is now taking time to pursue their true passion and paperwork. It is a pleasure for Cate to work alongside so many dedicated individuals, all sharing the common goal of helping others.

IT Specialist

Mary Owuor serves as the IT Specialist at LifeHouse Addiction and Treatment Centre, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s technology systems. With a strong technical background and a proactive approach, Mary manages day to day IT operations including hardware and software support, network maintenance, cybersecurity implementation, and data backup systems. She is known for her problem solving skills, responsiveness, and dedication to supporting the entire team enabling staff to focus on delivering quality care to clients. Mary’s work ensures that LifeHouse runs smoothly behind the scenes, contributing significantly to the centre’s mission of recovery and healing

Psychologist

Karen Kuria is a passionate psychologist with hands-on experience in addiction counseling and mental health care. She holds a degree in Psychology with IT from Maseno University and is a certified peer counselor. Karen has worked in rehabilitation settings since 2021, offering individual and group therapy, as well as family support.

She is a proud member of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) and continuously advances her skills through professional courses. Karen is committed to helping clients heal and rebuild their lives with empathy and evidence-based care.

Nurse

John Mungai joined Lifehouse Addiction Treatment Centre team in November 2023, driven by the desire to help people who have come across addiction in their life, and he believes that substance misuse treatment should not only be replaced by prescribed medication but part of a holistic approach towards recovery, following a plan put together by a multidisciplinary team, covering all the aspects of one’s well being.h
He has been using his general medical knowledge to help the clients at Lifehouse Addiction Treatment Centre achieve an acceptable level of physical wellbeing whilst undergoing detox treatment, in order to be able to focus on the personal and psychological aspects of their lives, and ultimately, achieve recovery from substance misuse and addiction.His professional experience begins when he qualified as a general adult nurse in 2022 and began his career working as a nurse in elderly, dementia and palliative care field. He acquired a wide range of experience in the medical field while working in a community, dealing with a variety of illnesses commonly occurring in elderly patients.

Bank Housekeeper

Helen is a very happy and bubbly person who joined the housekeeping team at Lifehouse AddictionTreatment Centre in March 2025.
